Healthlab:
16 and 17 March at Philips Museum

Learn more about the heart during HealthLab with Hartstichting and Philips Museum

Learn how the heart works and what innovations contribute to physical and mental health and what you can do yourself to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

During the 8th edition HealthLab, the functioning of the heart receives special attention through the collaboration with Hartstichting on Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17 at the Philips Museum in Eindhoven.

Philips and Hartstichting work together in several areas and are committed to saving lives and making the Netherlands safer. As a health technology company, Philips values the joint contributions to improving people's health and well-being through meaningful innovation. The HealthLab initiative is a step towards healthier living in the region.

Learning CPR and using AED

With various measurements and tests, visitors bring their fitness into focus. They learn what physical exertion does to the heart and heart rate, and blood pressure is measured. The AED is also demonstrated and visitors are given the chance to perform CPR themselves with the assistance of argumented reality.

The Philips Museum is open Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is the regular cost of admission ticket. The event is educational and inspiring for both children and adults.

HealthLab was created with collaborative partners Heart Foundation, Brainport Bereikbaar, museum volunteers, and Philips colleagues from Research and from Design, all committed to inspiring children and their caregivers with activities related to the heart and a healthy lifestyle.
